Leadership Labette is an eight-month community leadership program. Participants have an opportunity to learn more about themselves, and their communities and the program is designed to provide an atmosphere in which participants develop leadership skills useful at business, community, and personal levels. Leadership Labette began in 1989 as Leadership Parsons and has evolved over the years to meet the changing needs of our community. The program has been supporting leadership growth in Labette County for over 35 years!

The application period for the 2025-2026 Leadership Labette Class is now open! Applications for this year’s program will be accepted through September 15th, 2025 (the first class will be held on September 18th).
Applications for the program should be submitted prior to the start of the first session. Contact Monica at LCMHS to have an application emailed directly or click on the links below to download the application. Program tuition is $375.00 per person for the early bird discount if submitted prior to August 31st and $450.00 if submitted after August 31st. The tuitioin cost covers all expenses such as materials, meals, and lodgin. Limited scholarships are available. MOre information is available upon request. Tuition is due prior to the first full day session and payable to Leadership Labette/LCMHS.
