Cendie Shelton, LMLP - joined the staff at LCMHS in January of 2005 as a therapist, after completing an internship with the Center from August through December of 2004. She primarily works with adults and does the psychological testing for Labette Center. She is also a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Shelton received her Associate's Degree from NEO A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma in 2000, and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree from Pittsburg State University in 2002, and her Masterss Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pittsburg State University in 2004. Prior to her internship with LCMHS, Shelton completed her practicum at the Oklahoma Forensic Center in Vinita, Oklahoma. While attending Pittsburg State University, Shelton was the PSU Adult Assessment Center student traing administering psychological testing for SE Kansas SRS offices and was part of the North American Association of Masters in Psychology, Psi Chi, Student Psychology Association, Phi Theta Kappa, PSU Sexual assault response team.
