Matthew M. Atteberry, LSCSW, Executive Director
Atteberry holds Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kansas State University, a Master's in Social Work from the University of Kansas, and post-graduate work in child and adolescent development, as well as successful completion of the Marriage and Family Therapy program from the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry. Atteberry began working at Labette Center as an outpatient therapist in 1990. He then went on to become the Director of Children's Services in 1995, and was named Executived Director in 2002.
Misti Mustain, LMLP, LCAC, KCGC, Director of Specialty Services
Mustain holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis on Substance Abuse Treatment as well as a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pittsburg State University. Mustain became a Licensed Master Level Psychologist in 2003, and became a Substance Abuse Counselor of Kansas in 2000, Kansas Certified Gambling Counselor in 2008, and became a Licensened Clinical Addiction Counselor in 2011. Mustain started at LCMHS as a case manager and counselor in the Substance Abuse Program in 2000. Mustain assumed the responsibility of Coordinator for the Substance Abuse Program in 2002 and remained in that position until 2008 when she was named Community Support Services Coordinator. In 2012 Mustain became the Director of Specialty Services over the Community Support Services program serving the adult population as well as the Community Based Services program serving the children population. She then became the Director of Clinical Programs, overseeing outpatient services in addition to the specialty programs, in 2013.
Asha Patel, BS, Director of Business Operations
Patel holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management and Accounting which she earned from Pittsburg State University, graduating in 2000. She joined LCMHS in 2006, became the Office Manager in fall of 2015 and the Director of Business Operations in July of 2017.
Dr. Kenneth Williams, MD, Medical Director
Dr. Williams provides serves as the Center’s medical director. From 1981-1999 he served in the US Air Force Medical Service Corps as a psychiatric resident, psychiatrist, flight surgeon, chief of mental health clinic and chief of hospital services. He is a member of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He received his degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and had his residency at Write State University of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals.
Nikkii Rosenstiel, BSW, Children's Community Based Support Coordinator
Rosenstiel received a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Pittsburg State University in 2000. She joined LCMHS in 2003 as a case manager. She later became a Navigator's Group Leader, and then the Psychosocial Coordinator in December of 2008. In July of 2016 she became the Children's Community Based Services Coordinator.
Tom Schibi, AA, Community Support Services Team Leader
Schibi recieved an Associate of Arts in 1980 and an Associate of Arts in Special Education in 1982 from Labette Community College. Schibi began working at Labette Center as a Psychosocial Leader and part-time Case Manager, going full-time in 1997 He was then was named as Team Leader in 2007.
Williams received her bachelors in Business Management from Friends University in 2008. She received a Masters in Management/Public Administration in 2010, and a Masters in Healthcare Administration in 2012 from the University of Phoenix. She has been at Labette Center for Mental Health Services, Inc. since February, 2004 and has been the Corporate Compliance officer and Risk Manager since 2008.
Simpson recieved her bachelor's degree at Pittsburg State University in 2004. In 2014 she received a Master's in Liberal Studies, specializing in Social Networking from Fort Hays State Univeristy. She joined the staff at LCMHS in 2004 as a front desk receptionist. In April of 2008, she became the Administrative Assistant/Public Relations & Marketing person for Labette Center.
