Matt Newton, LSCSW, Therapist ? returned as a therapist with LCMHS in 2010, after previous employment with LCMHS over the past 15 years. Newton received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Ottowa University in Ottowa, Kansas and a Master of Science Degree in Social Work from Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico in 1992. As a therapist, Newton enjoys the counseling process and working with his clients to help them find ways to address their mental health needs. When not at LCMHS, Newton stays busy working as a pastor and as a school social worker. He and his wife, Teri Jo, have five children the home ranging in age from 4-16, and his favorite pastimes include spending time with his family, as well as reading the Bible and playing basketball.
