Jeanne McCallum, LPC, Therapist - joined the staff at LCMHS in 2001 as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from PSU in May 2001 with her MS in psychology in community counseling. She earned a Bachelor?s in Art Education in 1976 at DePauw University, Greencastle Indiana; was commissioned as a US Navy Supply Corps officer in 1980; and earned a M.Div. in Family Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990.

Life after the Navy brought experience with pre-school day care, dormitory keeping in an adult blind education program, retail work, being a pastor?s wife, substitute teaching and work as a paraprofessional in the special education program in Crawford County KS. In 2005 McCallum earned her Licensed Clinical Profession Counselor license, and is also a member of NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors).   At LCMHS providing family therapy for the Truancy Diversion Family counseling program has been a specialty, and McCallum finds working with children and families a pleasure.  In both individual and family therapy, she works to help all clients move through and past their problems and on toward healthy life styles is a priority. McCallum also works with the Crisis Team, the Community Based Services programs, and Children?s Services.
